Reports To: Assistant Manager Dept: PurchasingPurchasingJob Description:
Responsible for purchasing materials in terms of reasonable cost delivery quality etc. based on the
directions of purchasing management. The job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Issue Request for Quotations
Negotiate price delivery and quality
Prepare comparison sheet in price delivery and quality
Vendor evaluation and/or selection
Prepare price and delivery control sheet
Expedite material delivery to meet KRC/KRM/KRL production schedules
Coordinate FAI or PSI etc. together with QA department
Monitor receipt of materials which includes incoming and outgoing
Issue Purchase Order by using SAP or other company computer system(s)
Monitor and review invoices prior to submitting to management
Investigate discrepancies between invoices and receiving reports
Disposal of rejected/damaged/shortage materials
Interface between purchasing and other departments
Create various reports/spreadsheets
