Sr. Scrum Master (Retirement domain/ Insurance)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master with deep expertise in the Retirement domain to facilitate Agile processes support cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of retirement-related projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant-leader removing impediments and fostering a collaborative and high-performing Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams working on retirement domain projects.
- Facilitate sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives and review meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
- Guide teams in Agile practices ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs effectively.
- Remove impediments that hinder the teams progress and escalate issues as necessary.
- Drive team performance and foster a culture of transparency accountability and continuous learning.
- Liaise between stakeholders and development teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals.
- Monitor and report on team metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage retirement domain knowledge to provide insights and ensure domain-specific best practices are followed.
- Assist in planning releases managing dependencies and coordinating cross-team activities.
Must Have skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the Retirement domain (e.g. pension plans retirement benefits insurance etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks especially Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent facilitation communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) SAFe Scrum Master or equivalents.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira Rally or Azure DevOps.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience managing or working within retirement or financial services projects.
- Ability to mentor team members and promote best practices.
