Job Summary

Position Title: Scrum Master
Location: Chicago IL (onsite)

Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide development teams in delivering high-value outcomes. This person will help the team stay organized resolve obstacles and ensure Agile best practices are followed.

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Certifications:

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

Must-Have Qualifications:

5 years of experience as a Scrum Master (preferably on large-scale enterprise projects).
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and ceremonies.
Proven ability to facilitate sprint planning daily stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.
Familiarity with ServiceNow especially the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) suite.
Knowledge of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) processes such as risk management issue management controls testing and compliance policies.
Experience ensuring technical solutions align with business requirements.

Nice to Have:

Ability to promote Agile principles across the organization and act as a change agent.

Responsibilities:

Help the team self-organize and deliver high-value results.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning stand-ups reviews retrospectives).
Remove blockers and coach the team on Scrum best practices.
Protect the team from external distractions and scope creep.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement to meet project goals.

Soft Skills:

Strong coaching and mentoring skills to support team growth.
Ability to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to connect technical and non-technical stakeholders.
