Job Description
Job Title: Flex PLM Business Specialist
Location: Orlando Florida (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Flex PLM Business Specialist with 12 years of expertise in the Retail Apparel industry specializing in Merchandising Design Sourcing Supply Chain and Materials Management. The ideal candidate will lead process documentation gap analysis solution design training pre-sales activities and industry thought leadership ensuring seamless PLM implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document current processes analyze workflows and propose a future state aligned with business goals.
- Outline user requirements define functionalities and develop data models in collaboration with business teams.
- Work with Solution Architects and Offshore Project Managers to design and implement validation strategies (e.g. UAT post-implementation validation).
- Identify gaps in PLM solutions and design strategies to bridge them.
- Lead training for super users and end users to ensure efficient utilization of FlexPLM post-installation.
- Conduct pre-sales activities including project scope definition product demos and RFP responses.
- Drive thought leadership through industry engagement including writing articles white papers and participation in forums.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12 years of experience in the Retail Apparel industry specializing in PLM implementations.
- Expertise in Merchandising Design Sourcing Supply Chain and Materials Management.
- Strong background in enterprise IT projects preferably in FlexPLM implementations.
- Proven logical and analytical mindset for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Functional knowledge of FlexPLM is MANDATORY.
