Job Description
This Medical Assistant position requires a local candidate with a valid Washington state Medical Assistant certification (MA-C) and at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. The role involves providing patient care in an outpatient clinic utilizing the Epic electronic health record system and potentially floating to other areas within the scope of practice as needed. Strong communication and healthcare terminology skills are essential.
- Utilizing the Epic electronic health record system.
- Performing duties within the scope of practice as a Medical Assistant.
- Assisting patients with their routine activities of daily living (if applicable based on scope of practice)
- Communicating effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team.
- Potentially floating to other areas within the clinic depending on the needs of the facility and MAs skillset.
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in healthcare terminology.
- Experience with Epic EHR system.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Reliable transportation.

- On-call requirements are not expected.
- Weekend work is not required.
- RTO restrictions need to be confirmed with the hiring manager.
