Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Trauma this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Beverly. Your expertise in trauma surgery will be vital in ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients in critical conditions. You will be involved in a variety of trauma surgery projects contributing to the overall success of our healthcare staffing solutions.

As a Locum MD or DO in Trauma Surgery you will have the opportunity to showcase your medical skills and knowledge while making a significant impact on patient outcomes. Your role will involve working closely with healthcare teams performing surgical procedures and providing high-quality care to individuals in need of urgent medical attention. This position offers a rewarding experience for medical professionals passionate about trauma surgery and emergency care.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing trauma surgeries on patients with critical injuries.
  • Assessing patients conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participating in rounds consultations and medical conferences.
  • Documenting patient information treatment plans and progress notes accurately.
  • Adhering to medical protocols standards and safety regulations.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing timely interventions.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Trauma Surgery or relevant specialty.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Proven experience in performing trauma surgeries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care and documentation.

Schedule: 24-hour weekend call (Friday-Monday) specific dates

General surgery and trauma surgery cases

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
