Job Summary:
This position is for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans interacting with patients maintaining equipment and adhering to all safety protocols. The role requires proficiency in CT scanning techniques image processing and patient care. Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment is preferred. This is a rotating weekend position with potential for block scheduling at the managers discretion.

Responsibilities:
- Performing CT scans on patients of diverse ages and conditions.
- Preparing patients for scans explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting CT equipment.
- Processing and reviewing CT images for quality assurance.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as radiologists and nurses.
- Performing venipuncture as needed.
- Assisting with other imaging tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active ARRT (R) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Venipuncture certification.
- At least one year of experience as a CT Technologist (First-timers are accepted).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
Special Considerations:
- Rotating weekend shifts are required.
- The ability to float between units is required.
- Block scheduling is possible at the discretion of the manager.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
- Return to Office (RTO) is required at time of submission.
