Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology
We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist for temporary coverage at a leading facility located in Richmond Virginia. This practice is renowned for providing high-quality cardiovascular care and is looking to expand its team with locum coverage starting in April 2025. The setting includes inpatient duties with a call requirement and an emphasis on adult-geriatric patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide interventional cardiology services including heart catheterization and coronary angioplasty.
- Participate in weekend STEMI call coverage on a rotating basis.
- Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists to ensure patient care.
- Utilize EPIC for all documentation and patient records.
- Administer other significant procedures such as carotid artery stenting and atherectomy.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
- Active Virginia medical license and DEA certification with no exceptions.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology is highly preferred.
