Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - Cardiology
Summary:
Join a dedicated team at a top-tier facility in Phoenix Arizona where you will provide cardiology coverage starting June 1 2025. This position involves rounding on hospital patients at St. Josephs and assisting with consults primarily during weekdays alongside weekend call duties.
Join a dedicated team at a top-tier facility in Phoenix Arizona where you will provide cardiology coverage starting June 1 2025. This position involves rounding on hospital patients at St. Josephs and assisting with consults primarily during weekdays alongside weekend call duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- M-F: Round on hospital patients and manage consults to support the existing team.
- Weekend: Cover inpatient rounds and assist with new calls/consults during Saturdays and Sundays.
- Provide interventional cardiology services including required procedures such as Left Heart Catheterizations.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Work collaboratively with support staff including fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs).
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology.
- Familiarity with interventional cardiology procedures.
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Arizona medical license or IMLC.
- ACLS certification.
- DEA certification.
- Clean malpractice record preferred.
