Position Senior Procurement Specialist Offshore Sourcing (Asia)
Primary Objective The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing the procurement
process for offshore sourcing within the Asia region. This includes supplier identification contract
negotiation risk management and ensuring the effective delivery of goods and services in line with
project specifications timelines and budgets. The individual will work closely with project managers
engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and
services required for offshore operations.

Supplier Management Identify evaluate and select suppliers for offshore procurement needs across the Asia region;
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ensuring consistent and reliable supply
chains;
Conduct supplier audits performance evaluations and risk assessments.
Contract Negotiation &
Management
Lead negotiation of contracrs pricing and terms with suppliers ensuring compliance with
company policies and industry standards;
Draft review and management procurement contracts ensuring alignment with legal and
regulatory requirements;
Ensure that contracts reflect project needs and cost-effectiveness.
Sourcing Strategy Development Develop and impletement sourcing strategies for offshore operations to ensure the highest quality
of materials and services at competitive prices;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and finance to align procurement
strategies with project goals.
Market Analysis & Risk
Management
Monitor market trends industry developments and offshore procurement risks;
Develop mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions or unforeseen costs.
Compliance & Reporting Ensure procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as company
policies;
Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities supplier performance and cost
management for senior leadership.

region.
Experience Minimum 10 years of procurement experience with at least 3 years focusing on offshore
sourcing or procurement in the Asia region;
Knowledge of relevant local and international procurement laws and regulations.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Engineering or related field
(Masters degree is a plus).
IT/Technology Excellent general IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in the use of procurement software and ERP systems.
