Job Description
We are seeking a visionary CEO to lead the next phase of growth for an emerging player in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry. This role demands a leader who can balance business acumen with deep product and innovation insight. The ideal candidate will drive new R&D initiatives lead innovation-led transformation and oversee the full P&L. A strong orientation towards technology and innovation along with the ability to raise capital is key to success in this role. Sales experience is not a priority.
Key Responsibilities:-
Innovation & R&D Leadership:
Spearhead new product development advanced technologies and EV-specific innovations (e.g. battery systems lightweight materials connected vehicle tech). Foster a culture of experimentation and invention within the organization. -
Strategic Direction & Execution:
Define and implement a long-term growth roadmap with a strong focus on technology-led differentiation and product innovation. -
Financial & P&L Management:
Lead the companys overall business performance and profitability. Drive capital efficiency and ensure strong financial controls are in place. -
Fundraising & Investor Relations:
Partner with the Board and investors to secure funding for growth and innovation. Build trust and transparency with the investment community and funding partners. -
Team Building & Technical Collaboration:
Build mentor and lead a high-caliber team of engineers technologists and functional heads. Collaborate closely with R&D teams to convert ideas into commercially viable solutions. -
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with regulators government bodies technology partners and industry alliances to strengthen the companys ecosystem presence.
