Skill: SQL Server DBA Development Admin
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Primary Skill: SQL server development DBA Admin.
- Secondary: Tableau.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain SQL Server instances (on-premises and/or cloud).
- Monitor system health and performance ensuring high levels of performance availability and security.
- Perform database backups restores and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement and maintain database security (authentication authorization encryption).
- Manage and automate maintenance plans indexing statistics and job schedules.
- Troubleshoot database issues including blocking deadlocks and performance bottlenecks.
- Design and implement HA/DR solutions (e.g. AlwaysOn Availability Groups Log Shipping Clustering).
- Perform capacity planning and manage storage growth.
- Apply patches and updates and upgrade database versions when necessary.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts on schema design queries and stored procedures.
- Maintain documentation of processes configurations and best practices.
