Job Summary

Performs support tasks for department as directed and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
  • Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
  • May analyzes department processes and other Spectrum Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
  • Communicates collaborates and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associates or Bachelors degree program.
  • Currently enrolled at GVSU pursuing a Bachelors degree in area of accountability; College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) and Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies majors at GVSU are especially encouraged to apply
  • Junior standing with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025 or August 2025
  • A strong communicator critical and creative thinker with skills in problem-solving ethical reasoning and collaborative teamwork
  • Participant in GVSU Talent Link Program
