Our HR Services & Technology Office is looking for an HR Technology Specialist to join the team. Reporting to the Manager HR Technology you will be responsible for overseeing employment and workforce structure data and guiding the development of changes that support end-to-end HR and HR system processes. This role also provides expert troubleshooting and support in resolving data issues and conducting root cause analysis for any escalated technical problems related to HCM (HR Core Module) and Oracle Recruitment Cloud.
What will I be doing
- Provide functional and technical support in specific HR systems and applications. Responsible for ongoing development and support to ensure proper functionality and data integrity.
- Assess HCM data (position management recruitment and employment life cycle data points) to deliver actionable insights support improvements and contribute to dashboard and performance measure development.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics for HR system functions ensuring consistent reporting forecasting and issue analysis.
- Recommend additional system or process enhancementsconsulting with HR COEsin response to changing business requirements for HR applications.
- Assess system impacts from reorganizations and collective agreement or policy changes and determine necessary changes to workforce structure data or system functionality.
- Create and maintain training materials for all HR staff regarding workforce data technical functionalities and end-to-end talent fulfillment processes.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need
- Completion of a diploma in Human Resources or related field or a combination of education training and experience deemed equivalent; training specific to Oracle applications would be an asset.
- Demonstrated progressive years of experience/training in a functional HR role with a strong focus on HR technology and systems. Demonstrated expertise in the use and optimization of Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) preferably Oracle HCM with deep knowledge of workforce structures data governance and system-enabled HR processes.
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining workforce structures ensuring data integrity and quality and leveraging system functionality to support HR operations reporting and compliance.
- Proven ability to advise on best practices support data-driven decision-making and translate evolving business needs into scalable system solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Established track record of leading or supporting HR system projects and collaborating cross-functionally with HR IT and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that improve data quality user experience and process efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience working with HR data and reporting tools with the ability to extract interpret and present data effectively using Excel and other tools. Familiarity with sourcing data from HR systems preferably Oracle HCM to support analysis reporting and decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience working with workforce management and applicant tracking systems with an understanding of performance measurement practices and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven HR insights.
- Working knowledge of a broad range of Human Resources and related functions including Talent Acquisition Position Management along with understanding core data integrations and dependencies.
- Problem solving analytical decision making and organizational skills to analyze system requirements and lead changes and updates to the HRMS.
- Critical-thinking skills to identify trends in data and provide insight into results and outline recommendations.
