Job Title: Schools Out Assistant Site DirectorLocation: DistrictJob Group: Non-UnionReports To: Schools Out Site DirectorSummary: Responsible for assisting a site specific Schools Out Site Director in programming planning supervision andrelated Duties and Responsibilities:1. Assists in the daily operation of the after school program by:a. Interacting with students staff parents and the school community in a constructive manner to create a positivewelcoming learning environment.b. Providing general supervision to students. Ensures guidelines for participation inclusion conduct and discipline arefollowed to maintain a safe enjoyable learning environment.c. Monitoring student transitions and dismissal from activities.d. Serving as a liaison and maintaining relationship with students school administrators parents/guardians volunteersand community members.e. Assists with the planning coordination and supervision of students for monthly field trips.f. Attends meetings as needed.g. Providing regular reports and/or feedback to the Site Director containing a summary of activities recommendedactions needs concerns and success highlights. Reports incidents involving students and/or staff immediately tothe Schools Out Coordinator.2. Assist the Site Director in administrative processes including but not limited to: attendance data collection and entrytraining staff communications activity planning and performing enrollment procedures.3. Participates in trainings and professional development as determined appropriate by the Schools Out Coordinator.4. May perform other duties as Responsibilities: In the absence of a supervisor may perform supervisory responsibilities of program activitiesand staff as directed by the site director or program coordinator. Assists with interviewing and hiring and with studentsupervision and problem resolution. All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with District policies and procedures andapplicable state and federal laws. Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
