You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailGranger Medical Clinic is looking for a full-time PSR/MA Float Coordinator to supervisor our team of Patient Service Representatives and Medical Assistants. This position will be based out of Riverton
Overview:
Manages a team of 20-30 team members
Develop training programs for team members and hold monthly meetings
Review and approve timecards
Receive location coverage requests from Operations team for PSRs and MA floats
Schedule Float Team at requested locations
Sending Calendar invites for coverage in advance
Visit numerous locations to assist with any needs of the Float Team
This includes supervisory duties and responsibilities for other staff
The Float Coordinator reports to the Operations Director
Submitting float Mileage reimbursement biweekly
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of ECW Insperity and Microsoft Office
Computer background/knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Must possess tact diplomacy and positive attitude
Requires travel to other clinics
Essential Functions and Duties:
Create and maintain schedule of clinics requiring assistance and availability of team members
Assign new hires to PSR/MA super user or available training staff
Interview candidates for open positions
Transition PSRs to home clinics when they are ready to transfer
Communicate with Office Managers and/or Practice Managers to ensure effective coverage for daily operations and efficient patient throughput.
Communicates to the Office Manager and/or Practice Manager when possible corrective actions are needed for site and team members to ensure effective daily operations and efficient patient throughput.
Communicate effectively with Office Manager and/or Practice Manager as needed to ensure leadership is aware of pertinent clinic operations that may affect operational and/or organizations goals
Other duties as assigned
Available early mornings to coordinate clinical coverage same day
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma and 3 years or more of experience in a health care setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
One year of supervisory experience is required
Must be able to multitask and handle obstacles with outstanding customer service skills required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Required lifting up to 10 lbs
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
Inside climate-controlled working conditions
