Automotive Service Technician Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 of experience as an automotive technician with specific expertise in Ford vehicles preferred.
- Certifications: Valid ASE certifications preferred but not required.
- Skills: Proficiency in diagnostics repairs and maintenance of Ford vehicles.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including engine transmission electrical brakes suspensionHVAC and more
- Perform thorough inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns
- Accurately document work performed and parts used in dealership systems
- Communicate clearly with service advisors about findings estimates and repair timelines
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through Ford certification programs and technical bulletins
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean professional work area
