Financial Accountant (12-month FTC)
Location:Wolverhampton (Hybrid)
Salary:Benefits
Start:Immediate or up to 4 weeks notice
Were currently supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton in their search for aFinancial Accountantto join their team on a12-month fixed-term contract. This role is a backfill for a key team member who has been seconded to a major ERP implementation project.
Were ideally looking for afully qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA) but we are also open to experiencedQBEapplicants with a strong technical background in financial accounting.
The Role
As Financial Accountant youll take ownership of a range of technical accounting tasks working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Group month-end reporting
- Treasury management and cash forecasting
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Foreign exchange (FX) accounting
- Transfer pricing compliance
- Fixed asset accounting
- R&D spend tracking and tax credit claims
- Support with strengthening and embedding internal controls
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a complex international manufacturing environment and build valuable experience in technical finance areas.
What Were Looking For
- Fully qualified (ACA ACCA CIMA) preferred QBE applicants welcomedwith relevant experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors beneficial but not essential
- Hands-on proactive approach with the ability to hit the ground running
- Available to startimmediatelyor onshort notice (up to 4 weeks)
