KS2 Teaching Assistant Hounslow September 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils in Year 46 helping with literacy numeracy and topic work.
This KS2 Teaching Assistant role will see you working with small groups and individual pupils helping them stay focused and make strong academic progress. You may also support pupils with mild learning needs or provide tailored interventions.
The KS2 Teaching Assistant role is perfect for graduates interested in primary teaching educational psychology or SEND.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting whole-class learning across the KS2 curriculum
- Running small-group booster sessions in Maths and English
- Supporting pupils with additional needs or low confidence
- Encouraging participation progress and independence

- A 2:1 or above in English Maths or a related subject
- A calm patient and organised approach
- Good teamwork and communication skills
