As a Social Media Governance Lead at Vanguard you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the companys reputation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across all social media platforms. As a member of the social media center of excellence you will develop and implement policies provide training and monitor content to promote a positive and consistent brand image. Responsibilities:
Developandmaintaincomprehensivesocialmediapoliciesandguidelinesthatalign withVanguardsmissionandregulatoryrequirements.
MonitorandanalyzesocialmediatrendsandplatformstoensureVanguardssocialmediapracticesremaincurrentandeffective.
ConductregularauditsofVanguardssocialmediaaccountstoensurecompliancewithinternalpoliciesandexternalregulations.
Collaboratewithlegalcomplianceandmarketingteamstoaddressandmitigaterisksassociatedwithsocialmediacontentandinteractions.
Providetrainingandsupporttoemployeesonbestpracticesforsocialmediaengagementandgovernance.
Stayinformedaboutbestpracticesandemergingtrendsinsocialmediagovernance
Facilitatecollaborationtoensureourbrandrepresentationacrossallsocialmediaplatforms is consistent.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Five years related work experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Public Relations degree preferred.
Experienceindevelopingandmaintainingsocialmediapoliciesandguidelinescollaboratingwithlegalandcomplianceteamstoensurealignmentwithregulatoryrequirements.
Expertiseincreatinganddeliveringcomprehensivetrainingprogramsforcorporatesocialmediausersensuringglobalawarenessandadherencetoupdatedpolicies.
Provenabilitytoassessandmitigaterisksassociatedwithsocialmediaactivitiesimplementingstrategiestoprotectthecompanysreputationandclientdata.
Strongunderstandingofsocialmediagovernanceframeworksincludingthedesignandmanagementofapprovalworkflowstoensurecontentcomplianceandquality.
ExperienceinmonitoringandanalyzinginternalandexternalsocialmediaconversationstoidentifytrendssentimentandpotentialissuesaffectingVanguard.
Knowledgeofsecuritycompliancestandardsandbestpracticesinsocialmediagovernancewithacommitmenttostayinginformedaboutindustrydevelopments.
ProficiencyinusingsocialmediamanagementandlisteningtoolssuchasJIRATalkwalkerMeltwaterandKhorostotrackandreportonsocialmediaactivities.
Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskillswiththeabilitytoeffectivelyconveycomplex socialmediapoliciesandguidelinestodiverseaudiences.
This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays our crew will have the option to work remotely or continue working from our offices in Malvern PA.
