Since NCSSM is committed to an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the humanitiesapplicants should demonstrate professional native or near-native proficiency of Spanish and French language and their cultural and historical contexts a passion for teaching and learning and a love of ideas.
Excellent organizational and collaboration skills. Ability to work with other faculty in the discipline to align courses reflect on learning outcomes and provide extracurricular opportunities for students.
Masters degree in Spanish French second language acquisition (TESOL/ESOL/ESL). Demonstration of language proficiency in both Spanish and French. Applicants may demonstrate this proficiency through being a native speaker holding a degree in the language or holding a certificate indicating advanced language study.
Minimum 3 academic years of full-time experience working with and teaching Spanish or French language to advanced high school or undergraduate students.
