Job Description
Position: National Head of Design
Location: Delhi IN.
Critical Requirements:
Infrastructure Experience Mandatory: Must have experience in bridges railways highways (NOT commercial/residential projects)
Dual Expertise: Both structural AND hydraulic design experience required
Education: B.E. Civil Engineering Structural Engineering
Experience: 20-25 years with proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD STAAD Pro ETABS SAP2000
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the design department.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices.
- Manage resource allocation project timelines and budgets.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in design engineering and construction technology.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project updates.
- Collaborate with client engineers architects and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project designing solution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess design specifications.
- Review and approve design plans calculations and specifications.
- Utilize advanced design software and tools to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.
- Integrate sustainable design practices into structural solutions.
- Oversee the development of designs for various projects ensuring they meet all safety performance and aesthetic requirements.
- Resolve technical issues that arise during production as well as installation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during project planning and execution.
Skills required:
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD STAAD Pro ETABS and SAP2000.
- Strong understanding of building codes standards and regulations.
- Expertise in advanced structural analysis and design techniques
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
