What Youll Be Doing
Lead the full estimating process for large-scale commercial projects including drywall framing ceilings doors paint and specialty scopes
Oversee cost forecasting budget development and subcontractor pricing strategy
Conduct in-depth constructability and design reviews in coordination with project managers and clients
Train and mentor junior estimators and preconstruction staff
Utilize ERP software and digital tools like Bluebeam to manage documentation and workflow
Ensure bid accuracy contract compliance and alignment with project goals
Maintain close communication with clients architects engineers and trade partners throughout the preconstruction phase
What You Bring to the Table
5 years of estimating experience in commercial drywall and metal framing construction
Strong leadership capabilities and experience mentoring junior team members
Ability to read and interpret highly detailed architectural drawings and contract documents
Advanced skills in cost estimation budgeting scope reviews and subcontractor coordination
Familiarity with Bluebeam takeoff tools and ERP systems
Excellent problem-solving time management and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of current market trends in labor and material costs
Local or willing to relocate to Phoenix AZ (in-person role with some site interaction)
