Location: Ripon
Salary: 45000 - 65000 (dependent on experience)

Join a well-established legal practice in Ripon as a Commercial Property Solicitor where youll handle a diverse and challenging caseload of commercial property transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in this dynamic area of law while working with a variety of commercial clients in this beautiful North Yorkshire location.
The Role
Youll be managing a comprehensive caseload of commercial property matters providing expert legal advice on acquisitions disposals leasing and development projects. Working with businesses developers and investors youll have the opportunity to handle complex transactions while building strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a varied caseload of commercial property transactions including acquisitions and disposals
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases licences and property agreements
- Advise on development projects planning matters and construction agreements
- Conduct due diligence investigations and property searches
- Manage landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals and rent reviews
- Handle commercial property finance transactions and security documentation
- Provide strategic advice on property portfolio management and investment strategies
- Liaise with surveyors agents lenders and other professional advisors
- Conduct client meetings and provide commercial property guidance
- Manage transaction timelines and ensure smooth completion processes
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with commercial property experience (3 years PQE preferred)
- Strong knowledge of commercial property law and practice
- Experience in commercial leasing acquisitions and disposals
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Commercial awareness and understanding of property markets
- Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
- Interest in developing expertise across all commercial property areas
