Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Vancouver)

With a strong background in analyzing business processes gathering insights and implementing effective technology solutions youll play a key role in connecting business needs with innovative tech.

You will

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements for system enhancements or new implementations.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and work closely with the technology teams for system design development and implementation.
• Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions workshops and interviews with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding and alignment.
• Create detailed documentation including business process flows use cases user stories and functional specifications.
• Create test scripts and coordinate testing activities to ensure that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders by establishing clear channels of communication regularly providing updates on project milestones and addressing concerns promptly.
• Assist clients by troubleshooting technical issues and offering training where needed.
• Manage project resources timelines and budgets to ensure that outcomes are of high quality and high value.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Foster positive relationships within the business by actively listening to stakeholder concerns addressing issues promptly demonstrating reliability and consistently delivering successful project outcomes that align with Anthems goals.

You have

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in a complex business environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering process modeling creating business cases and documentation using tools such as Visio Lucidchart or similar.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall) and familiarity with project management practices using tools such are JIRA Asana or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Experience with related technologies such as Power Automate PowerApps SQL or other relevant tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools especially MS PowerBI would be advantageous.
• Experience working with APIs is a plus.

Pay range: $100000 - $130000 dependent on experience
