Coordinator Economic Development
Permanent - Full Time Position (Flexible)
Band 8 -$ 122746.59 - $ 137547.07 super (increasing to 12% July 2025) RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

Are you a strategic thinker and relationship builder with a passion for enhancing vibrant local economies Join the City of Yarra as our Coordinator Economic Development and lead a dynamic team committed to supporting our diverse and evolving business community.
As a key leader within the City of Yarra you will:
Lead and develop a high-performing Economic Development Unit delivering innovative initiatives that respond to the changing needs of local businesses.
Drive strategic planning and implement programs that enhance business development strengthen the visitor and nighttime economy and increase Yarras economic and social prosperity.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses industry groups and stakeholders to support our activity centres and employment precincts through a place-based approach.
Promote Yarra as a thriving destination for visitors and a great place to do business.

This position includes regular work outside of the office and you will need to work at alternative locations as required.
