Role Overview: What Youll Be Doing


Wheels Up is looking for a world-class MRO Site Representative in Statesville NC (SVH) to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings.

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Ensures pre-induction meetings are held for upcoming Scheduled Maintenance events andestablishesclear expectations for upcoming visits 30 days beforeaircraftarrival and then within 7 days of arrival to solidify visitcontent
  • Confirms Scheduled Maintenance event workflow expectations with MROfacility
  • Ensures all parts are pre-ordered by Wheels Up planningteam
  • Confirmsaircraftarrival and communicates any schedule changes to MROfacility
  • Ensures workflow is efficient and ontrack
  • Ensuresmanpowerallocation is in line with MRO facility contractualobligations
  • Monitors maintenance progress daily and updates internal Wheels Up Score Card and internal flight tracking system (Up FMS)
  • Ensures work progress status and roadblocks are communicated to Maintenance Control and other key internal Wheels Updepartments
  • Orders any partsrequiredduring the Scheduled Maintenance event which are above MRO facilitylimits
  • Approves discrepancies (following approval chart guidelines) as they are generated and ensures they are worked ina timelyfashion
  • Engages internal Wheels Up FSR team for specific pre-establishedissues
  • Inspectsaircraftonce MRO facility completes all work following establishedchecklist
  • Advises MRO facility of any post-visitneeds
  • Assists MRO facility QA with any paperwork questions/concerns and ensures progressive paperwork is sent to Maintenance Controlconsistently
  • Meets with Wheels Up pilots to discuss key elements of completed work scope and answers any questions the crew mighthave
  • Participates in Functional Check Flights (FCF) ifrequired
  • Reviews preliminary invoices for accuracy
  • Resolves any billing issues asneeded
  • Approves invoice for final payment (following approval chart guidelines)
  • Monitorsaircraftperformance for 30 days following the completion of a Scheduled Maintenanceevent
  • Follows up with MRO onaircraftperformancestatus
  • Works with MRO facility to recover any monetary exposure due to incorrect or inadequate maintenance performed during the Scheduled Maintenance event which induced an AOG event within 30 days (or more if applicable)
  • Documents and monitors MRO facility performance and reports data to Leadership weekly/monthly/quarterly
  • Any other duties assigned by Leadershipteam
  • Up to 50% of travel may berequired

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements

Were looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience skills and passion for what we do:

  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificaterequired
  • 10 years of Aircraft Maintenance experiencerequired
  • Part 121 or 135 Maintenance oversight experiencerequired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlinessimultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate with inter-departmental personnel in meeting Wheels Upobjectives

The Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements)

While not mandatory here are some additional things that would make you stand out:

  • Understanding ofaircraftscheduled maintenance
  • CAMP (or other) Maintenance Tracking System experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for an extended period of time
  • Ability to stand crouch kneel for a period of time

At Wheels Up we believe in fair compensation based on experience skills and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $75000 to $94000 depending on a variety of factors. We dont typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program which rewards individual and organizational performance.
