Job Description
Were looking for a hands-on Network Security Engineer to join our team supporting a large-scale government network. Youll work across both day-to-day operations and project work with a good mix of challenges and room to grow.
The role covers a broad environmentcorporate networks IT/OT shared sites and multiple data centresso theres plenty of variety. Youll be involved in maintaining and securing the network rolling out upgrades and implementing new tech.
Youll work with Cisco Check Point F5 Load Balancers Cisco SD-WAN SDA ISE ACI and Firepower alongside a skilled and collaborative team. We offer hybrid working a supportive environment and solid opportunities to develop your skills or take on more responsibility.
Skills/Experience
- Solid understanding of networking and security concepts protocols and design principles
- Experience with:
- Cisco routers switches and wireless (CCNA level or higher)
- Check Point firewalls
- Fortinet firewalls and SD-WAN technologies
- Familiarity with WAN/LAN and enterprise wireless networks
- IT and OT (Operational Technology) experience highly regarded
- CCNP or higher certification desirable for senior roles (any Cisco/networking certification is valued)
- Up-to-date knowledge of networking and technology trends
