Full-Time Faculty Chemistry
Location: Kuwait City KuwaitAcademic Year
Position requires relocation; only candidates unaccompanied by dependents are eligible.
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking dynamic student-centered Chemistry faculty to join our School of Arts & Sciences. This is a full-time on-ground role for individuals excited to teach abroad contribute to a growing institution and bring their expertise to a global student body.

What Youll Do
- Teach a range of Chemistry courses (introductory to advanced including Organic and Physical Chemistry)
- Deliver engaging instruction with real-world relevance and active learning
- Supervise laboratory instruction with emphasis on lab safety chemical handling and waste management
- Contribute to curriculum development assessment and academic advising
- Engage in departmental service and institutional initiatives
- Participate in research or scholarly activities aligned with your area of expertise
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Chemistry or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of university-level teaching experience (preferred)
- Strong command of English and effective classroom communication
- Familiarity with tools such as ChemDraw AMBER DFTB Quantum Espresso is a plus
- Experience teaching in classroom hybrid and online environments
- Cultural adaptability and willingness to work with a diverse student population
- Commitment to mentoring student success and academic excellence
- Experience supporting English language learners and first-generation students is valued
