We are currently recruiting 2Support Assistants to join our team in Wickford to work up to 37.5 hours per week we are open to part and full time applicants.
The team deliver a supported living care service and the home supports 4 individuals with learning disabilities. This is a 24-hour service with a mixture of long days short shifts and awake night shifts (these shifts are currently range 7.5 hours to 12.5 hours11.5 hours for the awake nights but may be subject to change with customer needs). This currently includes every other weekend and bank holidays.
The home offers a private garden area that the residents enjoy and private off-road parking is available.
For the successful applicants there will be variety in your day-to-day role alongside excellent training. You will support theresidents by offering person centred support and a choice of daily activities to provide a fulfilled and meaningful quality of life. You will maintain and develop their independence within the home as well as accessing the community to new and established activities therefore empowering each person to their own level in a 24-hour care setting.

Full training will be provided someone new to the sector can fulfil this role following a successful interview we will then support the successful applicant to complete the Care Certificate within their probation.
Our services do require 24-hour support and staff are expected to work bank holidays and weekends to meet the needs of the people we support.
