Join La Trobe University and lead the transformation of our network infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Manager to drive innovation and excellence across our enterprise-wide Cisco software-defined network. Youll play a pivotal role in shaping our wired and wireless infrastructure driving innovation through automation and best-practice alignment and ensuring the highest standards of performance security and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Network Engineers.
- Manage and continuously enhance the universitys core network infrastructure.
- Design and implement network solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee critical projects ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Provide expert advice across departments and liaise with external vendors.
- Ensure compliance security and service excellence across all network operations.
About You
Youre an experienced network professional able to demonstrate:
- Leadership & Management:Proven ability to lead and develop a team of network engineers.
- Strategic & Technical Expertise:Experience aligning infrastructure with strategic goals and staying current with industry trends.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in TCP/IP networking load balancing network virtualization and cloud networking.
- Certifications & Tools:CCNA CCNP or CCIE certifications; familiarity with Python and REST APIs.
