Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for a Network Analyst/ Engineer for our telecom client.

Candidates must have experience working with Cisco networking Cisco Routing and Switching and sound knowledge of Routing protocols such as RIP EIGRP BGP.

3 to 5 years experience in network engineering and documentation

Knowledge of networking hardware including routers and switches
Working experience of Access Network preferableDOCSISTechnology

Working experience in IP based network(Router Switch DHCPDNSIP Management)

Knowledge of IP including TCP UDP NATing OSPF and BGP

Working Experience of programming scripting ( C C javapython shell)

Expert level capabilities within the Microsoft Office suite of tools especially Excel and Visio

Ability to support a team of network engineers and client accounts in the network transformation effort.

Strong requirements gathering and documentation of network environments.

Working familarity with DOCSIS/ HFC technologoes inclusing cable modem proviisoning and CMTS operations

Understanding of DHCP IP adressingand subnetting(CIDRrouting basics)
CCNA level networking TCP/IP switching routing and basic network troubleshooting
Strong problem solving skills
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
