Job Description

RN Med Surg Permanent Role

Location: Waco TX 76712
Shift: 12-Hour Nights 07:00 PM 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Compensation: Competitive based on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe effective and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Monitor assess and document patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing program (ASN or BSN).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License-Current and active in Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification-Required within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a Med Surg unit.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
