Facility Name: Phelps Health Medical Center Med Surg

Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Shift:PRN Days

Schedule: 8 hour shifts 8:00am- 5:00pm

More about our team:

Phelps Health Medical located in Rolla MO is a Med Surg Unit. Phelps Health which includes a hospital licensed for 240 patient beds serves a six-county area with its main campus and several clinics located in Rolla Missouri. Phelps Health also has clinics in Salem St. James Vienna and Waynesville Missouri. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

What were looking for:We are looking for a dynamic Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

What you will do in this role:

Develop a specialized treatment plan to help him/her achieve as much as possible in regaining his/her well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. You and your staff will play an important role in his/her recovery

Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patients family or nursing staff in follow-through programs

Document patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements

Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition

Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Companys Code of Business Conduct the Corporate Compliance Agreement appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered

Current CPR certification

Strong organizational and communication skills

Accepting new Grads
