Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking a Physician Assistant for Emergency Medicine with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in an ER setting and possess the necessary licenses and certifications. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.
- Perform entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform initial assessments order/interpret diagnostics exercise treatment algorithms and arrange appropriate disposition for patients of all ages
- Utilize available physician resources appropriately
- Demonstrate high confidence in treating patients
- Available for Primary Patient Care including review of lab/x-ray reports medication refills patient referral patient education health maintenance and symptom management
- 1728 clinical hours per year 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm) 30-35 patients per day No Call Physician on every shift
- Masters degree or higher
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in New Mexico (NM)
