Bilingual Customer Service Representative Remote
This opportunity is within the insurance industry for one of our clients in Canada. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to support a high-performing team known for its collaborative and customer-focused approach. The successful candidate will contribute to daily operations within the Disability and Life Claims Contact Center playing a key part in delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $22 to $24 based on experience.
12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday shifts between 8 am and 8 pm EST (rotational).

Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls and emails regarding group disability claims.
Provide technical support including online claims submission assistance password resets and user ID troubleshooting.
Access and navigate internal systems to locate relevant customer information.
Research and resolve client inquiries within defined service timelines.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with plan members and sponsors.
Prioritize incoming requests effectively to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Foster team engagement by collaborating with colleagues and supporting peers as needed.
What you will need to succeed:
Post-secondary education is an asset but not required.
1 year experience in a customer service or administrative environment.
Bilingual in English and French to support clients in both languages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer literacy and keyboarding proficiency.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for remote collaboration.
Ability to adapt and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective problem-solving and customer service mindset.
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology considered an asset.
