Job Summary

MalaceHR is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with food preparation service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and dining environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail excellent customer service and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs basic food preparation such as washing peeling cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weighs and measures ingredients as designated in recipes.
Transports pans kettles and trays of food safely between workstations stoves and refrigerators.
Distributes supplies utensils and portable equipment as needed.
Stores food items in designated areas following wrapping dating labeling and rotation procedures.
Cleans and sanitizes work areas equipment and utensils according to established standards.
Ensures compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Follows approved recipes and production standards to maintain consistent food quality temperature and portion control.
Serves customers in a friendly efficient and professional manner following outlined service steps.
Interacts with customers and relays relevant feedback or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Replenishes condiments beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service hospitality or related environments preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Ability to follow recipes and written/oral instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift carry and transport items up to 30 lbs.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.
