Job Description

Our Client is a leading MLM wellness company based from the USA. As part of the strategic expansion in APAC region they are looking for a Vice President of Sales in the regional officee based in Malaysia. This role plays a pivotal role in driving field performance by serving as a strategic coach and mentor to top field leaders Country Managers and internal sales teams across the region. This role focuses on deep engagement with the network organization providing tailored guidance developing actionable strategies and closing performance gaps through hands-on support. By aligning field execution with corporate direction delivering market insights and fostering leadership development the VP of Sales ensures sustainable growth team alignment and long-term organizational success.

Serve as a strategic coach and mentor to top field leaders Country Managers and internal sales and business development teams across the region.

Build deep trust-based relationships within the network organization to understand business needs challenges and aspirations.

Provide regular consultations tailored guidance and motivational talks to drive leadership growth and inspire performance.

Deliver hands-on coaching to empower field leadership with the tools mindset and strategies needed to drive recruitment retention and sustainable growth.

Act as a conduit between the field and corporate teams delivering voice-of-field feedback and solution-driven proposals to optimize execution.

Deep-dive into market structures and distributor hierarchies to identify leadership potential nurture emerging leaders and strengthen organizational resilience.

Analyze network performance across markets and recommend programs or actions to drive consistency motivation and growth.

Support the design and implementation of leadership development tracks tailored to market and network maturity levels.

Conduct tailored in-market visits one-on-one coaching and strategic roundtables to support local leaders and close performance gaps.

Offer situational assessments and actionable recommendations to help field leaders overcome challenges and capture growth opportunities.

Represent regional leadership as a key speaker or facilitator at major events to provide direction motivation and strategic clarity.

Actively gather field and market insights through immersion and ongoing engagement translating them into strategies and resource priorities with internal teams.



Requirements

A Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

20 years of progressive leadership experience in multinational organizations with a proven track record in direct selling network marketing or related industries. This experience should include shaping and driving strategic sales market expansion distributor development and recruitment initiatives at a regional or global scale.

Extensive experience working with executive leadership teams and field leaders providing strategic guidance to drive distributor success leadership development and sustainable business growth.

Proven ability to build and maintain influential relationships across diverse cultures and geographies leveraging these connections to achieve significant sales and business development outcomes.

Expertise as a dynamic public speaker and facilitator capable of inspiring large audiences delivering impactful training programs and serving as a trusted mentor to senior leadership and field teams.

Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills with demonstrated success in evaluating market dynamics uncovering growth opportunities and implementing data-driven strategies to achieve competitive advantage.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills with strong command in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

A visionary and results-driven leader with a proactive mindset capable of translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and delivering measurable outcomes.

Proven leadership in managing developing and empowering high-performing teams across multiple markets fostering collaboration innovation and accountability.

In-depth knowledge of global industry trends regulatory standards and best practices within the direct selling and network marketing sectors with a focus on APAC market dynamics.

A Bachelor s Degree in any discipline. MBA or other Master s Degree is a plus. 12 years of experience in a multinational, direct selling or network marketing organization with sales or business development experience and 5 years of management experience. Strong business acumen in the direct selling and network marketing industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset to interpret market trends, business performance, and consumer behavior. Impeccable integrity and value system. A very hands-on individual with a deep level of commitment to make a positive impact and to achieve the company s goals. Comfortable with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. Ability to innovate and implement creative sales strategies that align with evolving market trends and digital transformation. Ability to develop lasting relationships with the field and leverage on relationships to drive results in sales. Strong leadership and a good mentor Great workshop planner, trainer, personal coach, and advisor. Great speaker with good presentation skills and has the ability to conduct ad hoc trainings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to travel within the country and the region to lead and support business-building activities.
