Job Description
- Develop 2D and 3D pipeline layouts alignment sheets and isometric drawings.
- Use software such as AutoCAD MicroStation or SmartPlant to produce pipeline route plans and profiles.
- Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM) piping general arrangements (GA) and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with civil mechanical and stress engineers for support placement trench details and pipeline routing.
- Interpret P&IDs plot plans and equipment layouts to develop piping models.
- Ensure design compliance with applicable codes (e.g. ASME API) and client specifications.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Mechanical Design Drafting or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in pipeline or piping design (onshore/offshore).
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or plant design software (e.g. E3D).
- Knowledge of industry standards and pipeline design codes.
- Experience in oil & gas water or utility pipeline projects is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial understanding.
