HireNow Staffing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager to join a top-tier medical facility in Las Vegas Nevada. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about supporting mothers and newborns through the childbirth experience.
Position Summary:
The Nurse Manager will oversee clinical operations within the Labor & Delivery unit including patient care staff development resource management and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a safe and supportive experience for patients families and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the Labor & Delivery unit

Manage staffing scheduling and performance evaluations for nursing staff
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in maternal care

Foster a culture of safety compassion and collaboration

Partner with physicians midwives and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Lead quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
Qualifications:
-
Current RN license in Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) required; Masters preferred

Minimum of 3-5 years of Labor & Delivery experience including prior leadership or charge nurse roles

Strong understanding of evidence-based obstetric practices and patient safety standards

Exceptional organizational communication and problem-solving skills
