Duties: Respiratory Therapy Clinical Coordinator
Responsible for initiating and reassessing patient care needs within protocol guidelines; rounding with designated physician teams as directed; participate in discharge planning and/or outpatient care with case managers and durable medical equipment companies; provide respiratory education and training to all health care team members
Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapy Clinical Coordinator
Minimum of four years of respiratory/pulmonary experience required.
Bachelors degree in respiratory therapy or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrated ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
Ability to balance and prioritize diverse clinical responsibilities required.
Respiratory Care Practitioner License in Nebraska required.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP) required as directed within the department.
Preferred Qualifications: Respiratory Therapy Clinical Coordinator
Experience with competency development and training preferred.
Experience with quality assurance and policy processes preferred.
Computer experience with information systems management preferred.
