Knowledge of computers and electronic equipment required.
The Company
Cascade Asset Management was formed in 1999 to provide comprehensive information technology equipment retirement services for businesses institutions and municipalities.The company now operates full scale processing facilities in Wisconsin Indiana and Florida and collects between 300 - 400 tons of computers office electronics consumer electronics and test equipment each month from sites across North America. Cascade is a national leader in responsible IT Asset Retirement solutions for businesses and institutions across North America.
The Position
Were looking for people experienced with technology to work in our Refurbishing department testing and wiping data from IT equipment. Technicians test and audit multiple types of equipment including but not limited to computers monitors printers servers smart phones networking appliances and hard drives.
You offer:
- Proficiency with troubleshooting and testing computer hardware
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Flexibility and capability to work on a variety of tasks which change often
- Proficiency with computers including use of database email Internet MS Office and other applications
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Networking equipment-Switches Routers Firewalls Security Devices Wireless Solutions Line Cards HWICs and VWIC
- Operating systems-Windows Unix/GNU/Linux Mac OS X/iOS Blackberry OS
- Storage-Hard Drives RAID Controllers Blade Controllers Disk Shelves Fiber Adapters Manufacturer Specific Storage
- Tape and DAT Drives.
- Servers-Rack Server Server Chassis CPUs PCI adapters Blade Servers
- Accessories-Cables Memory GBICs SFPs Power Supplies Battery Backups VOIP Phones and related Items

Salary Range: Full time non-exempt $21.25 $29.77 based on experience and qualifications
Work Hours:Monday Friday 8:00 am -4:30 pm
