Job Description

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is a leading provider of mechanical electrical and plumbing services to Cincinnati Dayton Columbus Evansville Lexington Louisville Eastern Kentucky and the surrounding areas. We deliver our services through the full lifecycle including design build and new construction major repairs and replacements and ongoing preventive services. DeBra-Kuempel is wholly owned by EMCOR Group Inc. a national provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services including planning consulting and operations and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the HRBP to post job openings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Manage candidate records and progress within the ATS in accordance with company guidelines
  • Review applications and conduct virtual pre-screen interviews to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Attend in-person interviews with hiring managers when requested.
  • Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Smart Sourcing to identify and engage passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Assist the HRBP with New Hire Orientation and onboarding
  • Other duties as assigned by the HRBP or Human Resources Director

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.   • Associates degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in human resources and/or recruiting may be substituted for a formal degree
  • A minimum of (2) years of Recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting within the Construction and/or Engineering industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Excellent Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams Outlook Word OneNote and Excel)
  • Familiarity with souring applications including LinkedIn and Indeed.
