Responsibilities & Duties:
Planning & Setup: Attends campaign planning meetings alongside Project Execution Leads. Responsibilities may include a wide array of tasks such as project planning ensuring data flow through the relevant systems and supporting the Project Execution Lead (PEL) in setting expectations around delivery.
Subject Matter Expertise: Acts as local champion on global commercial marketing tools and services. Educates local stakeholders on modern marketing services and tool capabilities.
Data & Insights: Ensures customer leads are uploaded to Marketo and uses reporting provided by the Marketing Services Teams. Uses reporting to provide specific views to stakeholders and regularly reviews Marketing Services Dashboards. Supports Analytics Leads to associate marketing spend and conducts monthly hygiene reviews to ensure metadata is correct.
Execution & Project Management: Working with the Project Execution Lead the MC can also support in a project management capacity once the set up and plans are understood. This role is integral to the end-to-end execution ensuring that processes are followed and supporting the PEL in assigning accountabilities to the various players in the process. Qualifications :
Required Competencies and Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese. Professional/Business to Native level proficiency is required.
For Japanese-Speaking Marketing Coordinators: JLPT level of N1 or N2 certification is required.
Intermediate experience in client / account management project management strategies and tools
Demonstrated understanding of marketing communications vehicles tools and execution both online and offline. Working knowledge of Marketo is helpful.
Demonstrated understanding of event marketing event planning and the associated tools and technologies associated with these events.
Ability to articulate and evangelize services with stakeholders
Ability to manage relationships across different stakeholders work collaboratively and find resolutions for conflicts and issues
Required Experience:
College degree
Has 3 to 5 years or more marketing communications (agency or client side) with a focus on event marketing and virtual events.
