Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Execution and Logistic Specialist will evaluate and execute routine to difficult and varied transportation operations data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products. The Trade Execution and Logistic Specialist will be in charge to execute Trade contracts

In this role you will conduct data management reporting and analysis partner interaction collaboration with Cargill departments cost optimization and project management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Domestic Transport execution and Truck freight sourcing in France (60%)
  • Support and back-up for rail execution activities for BioEnergy and Grain Product Lines (40%)
  • Existing of:
    • Analyze and project transportation costs.
    • Ensure the proper execution of commodity contracts and the supply of our crush plant.
    • Plan control and implement processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement.
    • Perform data entry updates using SAP spreadsheets and databases
    • Evaluate select and foster ongoing relationships with our partners
    • Use comprehensive knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
