Job Description
Level 1 IT Technician
Our client is a trusted managed IT services provider dedicated to delivering responsive reliable and personalized technology solutions to their clients. They will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing Windows 11 updates across client environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the rollout of Microsoft Windows 11 updates for multiple clients ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate update schedules and communicate timelines to clients
- Monitor update installations troubleshoot failures and resolve compatibility or configuration issues
- Perform post-update system checks to verify update success and system functionality
- Provide basic end-user support related to Windows 11 functionality or update-related issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of update processes system configurations and client communication.
- Work with internal technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues when necessary
- Ensure all systems comply with cybersecurity best practices and client-specific IT policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Windows environments specifically Windows 10 and 11
- Solid understanding of Windows Update mechanisms patch management and system troubleshooting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and remote management software
- Previous experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment is a plus
