We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager to lead our IT sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling a wide range of corporate IT products and services while achieving opportunity-based sales targets. This role identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term strategic relationships with clients.
Job Duties and tasks:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts ensuring client satisfaction and consistent revenue growth.
- Build maintain and strengthen relationships with clients procurement departments and decision-makers.
- Understand the procurement processes tendering requirements and compliance standards.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to the needs of the clients.
- Conduct onsite meetings and presentations to clients to promote tailored IT solutions.
- Upsell and cross-sell solutions such as networking cybersecurity data center services personal computing and managed print services.
- Monitor and respond to RFPs RFQs and tenders in coordination with the pre-sales and proposal teams.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts maintain pipelines and contribute to quarterly and annual business targets.
- Achieve or exceed sales quotas and key performance indicators aligned with public sector strategy.
Requirements
- 3 5 years of proven experience in IT solution sales.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex government accounts and navigating procurement cycles.
- Bachelor s degree in Business IT or a related field.
- Excellent command of English.
- Deep understanding of sales cycles tendering processes and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong motivation for sales with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work under pressure manage long sales cycles and consistently meet deadlines and targets.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
