Position Responsibilities:
Event Support & Coordination- Assist the Venue Manager in coordinating event details oversee event set-up on-site logistics.
Client Assistance- Support clients with questions updates and changes leading to the event.
Administrative Support- Maintain records of events contracts proposals timelines and client communications managing venue scheduling and availability keeping the calendar up-to-date.
Training and Team Support: Provide comprehensive training for new team members to ensure they understand company standards policies and procedures. Offer ongoing development opportunities for staff to enhance skills and performance.
Vendor Coordination- Liaise with external vendors florists decorators audiovisual teams and others.
Ancillary Duties: reporting budgeting and record-keeping assist with marketing initiatives site tours and promotional events to showcase the venues.
Must have skills:
Flexibility to meet the scheduling needs that arise.
Willingness to participate in client meetings industry events and promotional activities including traveling as part of your professional development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Highly organized with the focus on being detail oriented
Venue planning
Wedding and event planning in the hospitality industry
2 years experience with large events such as: conventions venues corporate events galas
Reliable transportation
Open availability: Days Nights and weekends when needed especially during the busy season.
