As an Remuneration Officer(all genders) youll play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting remuneration regulations providing insights to shape our compliance strategies. Youll monitor remuneration systems to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations including CRD V the German Banking Act (KwG) EBA Guidelines and the German Remuneration Regulation (IVV) along with regulatory reporting and disclosures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret remuneration regulations and conduct monitoring activities to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements providing insights to drive compliance strategies.
- Prepare reports reflecting the outcome of the conducted monitoring activities.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks within remuneration systems.
- Assist in aligning remuneration systems with organizational policies and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and other departments on regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Human Resources Compliance and Internal Audit.
- Contribute to the development of governance within the Remuneration Officer function.
- Maintain and implement Remuneration Officer policies and procedures.
- Prepare materials for the firms oversight bodies such as the Management Board and Remuneration Control Committee and for regulatory engagements.
- Support audits and reviews of remuneration practices.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Compliance Risk Management or Human Resources.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to project management and workload prioritization.
- Experience in preparing and presenting reports/ materials.
- Writing skills in both German and English.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience in remuneration regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
- Expertise in writing audit or compliance reports.
