Job Description
- Consistently preparing delicious high quality food that exceeds client and customer expectations
- Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our food offering and service standards
- Preparing the weekly menu for the restaurant ensuring it reflects seasonal ingredients customer preferences and innovation
- Supporting with hospitality and evening events as needed ensuring seamless and high quality experiences for clients and guests
- Promoting a positive and inclusive kitchen environment where every team member feels welcomed valued and supported
- Assisting the team in delivering our exciting and well loved food concepts to customers
- Supporting with ordering stock management and driving initiatives to minimise food waste
- Taking responsibility for maintaining high hygiene standards through regular kitchen cleaning and compliance
- Contributing to effective budget management and helping the team meet financial targets
- Ensuring full compliance with all Food Handling Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution preferred.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings as required.
- Fun and enthusiastic
- Have excellent organisation skills.
- Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
- Have a flexible approach to work.
